Ali El Manini
Oil on Canvas, Stipple Art · Beirut, Lebanon
Meet Ali El Manini, a Lebanese visual artist whose work moves fluidly between mediums, emotions, and states of human endurance. His journey into art did not begin in a traditional studio, but in the structured worlds of programming, digital technologies, and UI/UX design — disciplines that shaped his patience, precision, and deep sensitivity to detail. Over time, those technical foundations found their way into artistic expression. What began in pixels evolved into pigment; what was once coded became painted. Today, Ali’s practice spans fine-tip ink stippling, oil painting, and watercolor. Each medium becomes a different emotional language: stippling transforms time into meditative constellations of dots; oil paintings carry psychological depth and dramatic intensity; watercolors reveal fragility, memory, and quiet impermanence. Alongside painting lives another essential part of his creative process — photography. Through his camera, Ali captures moments, faces, and atmospheres that speak to him instinctively. Many of these photographs later become the soul of his paintings — not replicated, but re-imagined. The lens records reality; the brush reconstructs its emotional truth. His work explores identity, survival, innocence, and internal conflict. Faces fracture yet endure; children remain tender within devastation; silence becomes a form of resistance. Across mediums, beauty coexists with decay, serenity with unrest, and vulnerability with strength.
Ali's art stands as a meditation on existence — layered, fragile, and unbreakably human. Across mediums, beauty coexists with decay, serenity with unrest, and vulnerability with strength.
