The Weight of Petals

Fine Art Ink, Stipple Art · 42 × 59 cm · 2025

In this artwork, I bring together two forces rarely seen in silence: age and rebirth. The old hands, shaped by a lifetime of labor, reveal their stories through every wrinkle and scar — each dot a testament to quiet endurance. Beside them, the peach blossoms rise soft and new, symbols of tenderness and fleeting beginnings. One carries centuries, the other only days, yet they belong together. The hands do not hold the flowers; they honour them. A reminder that even as we fade, we nurture the world that blooms after us — and that even the most weathered hands still carry a fragment of spring.
