Hands of Heritage

Oil on Canvas · 42 × 59 cm · 2020

Hands of Heritage is a homage to the silent guardians of tradition — the craftsmen whose touch preserves the soul of a nation. In this deeply intimate scene, an elderly potter is captured mid-creation, his weathered hands shaping clay with the quiet authority of lived memory. Soft golden light spills gently across the workshop, illuminating shelves of earthen vessels and stone walls steeped in history. Nothing here is still; every pot, every shadow hums with ancestry. The painting is not just a painting — it is the breath of Lebanon’s fading craftsmanship, a reminder that in the rhythm of turning clay lies the heartbeat of cultural continuity.
