This stippling piece translates the serene landscape tradition of Far Asia into the rigorous language of dot art. It is a study in harmony and silence. I used extremely fine pens to manage atmospheric effects. The distant mountains and mist are created by low-density dot-work, mimicking traditional ink wash painting ( sumi-e ). In contrast, the central tree and small figures are defined by intense dot-work, giving them sharp focus. The small figures and boat emphasize humility and the concept of Wabi-Sabi —finding beauty in impermanence. The composition invites the viewer to find solace in this moment of balanced stillness, where human presence meets monumental nature.
