Reflection & Refraction

Mixed media (acrylic, collage, inks, oil pastel) · 110 × 90 cm · 2023

$7,000 (Available)

Reflection & Refraction is a meditation on pain and sorrow—the echoes of wars and the fractures they leave behind. Two animals appear closely bound, their forms mirrored in the lower part of the canvas, creating an expressive interplay of reflection and distortion. Through this doubling, the artwork speaks of how suffering not only exists but reverberates, multiplying its impact. Yet within the fractured imagery lies a search for meaning, a reminder that even broken reflections can reveal truth.
